Castell Salmon will raise its fish from egg to plate at a single site in Griestal, using Recirculation Aquaculture System (RAS) technology. Every fish will be locally produced, fully traceable, and free from antibiotics and GMOs.

Castell Salmon is built on the site of a long-established trout farm in Griestal. The decision to transition from trout to Atlantic salmon was based on four clear factors.
Salmon provides high-quality, easily digestible protein. It delivers omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), which support heart, brain, and eye function. It also supplies essential vitamins such as B12 and D, along with minerals like iodine and selenium.
